Crankiness is being woken in the middle of a good dream to pose for pictures. An example of this can be seen here.
Although not exactly what you’ll find in a dictionary we live the example of it every day. In this instance we were happy to see both dog and cat roll over to go back to sleep.
We don’t wake the pets too often we do constantly have the camera in their faces. It’s great that our pets are so easy going as we wouldn’t want them to be camera shy.
