Spring is Here

The snow is almost gone, the sun is shining, and the ground is muddy – Spring is definitely here.

Being a few years since Corona had the chance to catch up with Jade (her cousin) it was great to hear that she was in town and ready to go to the park.  Despite the puddles we decided it was as good an opportunity as any to have them play together again.

With the nights still being too cold for the water to be turned on the puddles acted not only as a bath, a toilet and a pathway it was the communal water fountain no matter how hard we tried.

Although a few years Corona’s senior Jade tries to follow along.  Not able to keep up she usually returns to her owners side but the intent is there and Corona certainly appreciates her effort.

With Summer on its way we hope to catch up with Jade more often and get the bounce back to her that Corona remembers.

A Doggie Outlet but an Outlet all the Same

People often make fun of the fact that a dog has her own website but these people usually aren’t dog lovers; although they sometimes are.  I even mocked the idea when my husband mentioned it the first time but it’s really become an addiction of mine.

As an aspiring writer this website gives me an outlet to write, and sometimes vent, but writing anything is a good exercise of the mind.  I sometimes miss a few days and these days are ones that I miss the site the most.

With an online business being threatened and another one in the works I now have a little bit of "me" time I just haven’t yet figured out quite how to spend it.  Sitting down after cleaning the house I decided Corona needs some attention.  Eating an entire plant of mine yesterday I’m not up to spoiling her today so this is the way it has got to be. As she lays quietly (until I wrote that) on her bed, freshly cleaned from her bath this morning I still wonder why she ate the one plant she has never paid attention to… UGH! Animals.

In the meantime, Russ meows constantly from his room wanting attention he too doesn’t deserve as he misbehaved in another way that I am too nice to mention.

My husband is due home soon and I hope he’ll be pleasantly surprised at all that I accomplished but who knows… he may not even notice.
