Corona Meets her Shadow

A sure sign of Spring when Corona sniffs her shadow even though the snow is still melting – at least it’s starting to, anyway – and a great start to an active season.

Loving the chance to go for a walk and have her nails "cut" naturally, Corona can’t wait for the ground to dry up enough for her to run in the park but will be happy with walking at our speed until then.

PetSmartLeaving her bed behind for the great outdoors is always a welcome activity for this Dogo Argentino.

Tired After her First Walk

Corona certainly loves her walks but wasn’t thrilled about the idea of a photoshoot immediately following.   But looking so sophisticated in her new reflective jacket I couldn’t help but take the opportunity to have her pose.

We’ll be seeing a lot of Corona in attire this Spring as it’s turning out to be a muddy one with all the melting snow.  I’m tempted to take her for a stroll today but the clouds promise rain in the near future so it’s a risk I’m choosing not to take even if this Dogo Argentino does have a raincoat.  Besides, the neighbourhood just doesn’t offer the tranquility of the nearby park which is always filled with too many smells that I don’t want to handle this big dog on her own.

So we’ll take the day off and relax a little with a bit of writing (me) and sleeping (possibly me, more Corona).  Until next time… enjoy the weather wherever you are.  Each possibility only leads to new adventures.

Spring is Finally in the Air

With the temperature warming up and the sun shining I dressed Corona in her newest coat and took her for a walk.  Once it was too late to do anything about it I realized maybe the world wasn’t quite ready for a white dog.

With Spring comes melting snow and lots of it which means water and mud and smells.  When we returned I just had to take a picture to show that I’m not exaggerating when I say that Corona needs another bath.  At least she’s tired now from our short walk and I can actually get some posts done.

Hopefully the next time it’s warm again it’ll be a little drier, too.

I do have to say that Summer is a Dogo Argentino’s best season in New Brunswick.

Corona’s Affair with Old Navy

Corona just loves to dress up for the camera and Old Navy seems to be the place to get the cool clothes for dogs her size.  She was a bit frightened as she’s laying in the emptiness that was once a fish tank but she warmed up in no time, and then we moved the couch there.

It’s been a while since I posted but only for lack of time, not for lack of interest or photo’s.  I do have a feeling this summer will be filled with great photo opportunities and with another pup joining the family I’ll be back very soon.

In the meantime, Corona will be enjoying her sweater and other clothes while Spring breaks through the cold.
