Our dog likes almost everyone we have introduced her to but she has always been weary of Allan, my brother-in-law and no one could figure out why. The entire family is puzzled by the fact that Corona quivers at the sight of Allan.
During our fathers day events I handed Allan the rope that our dog usually loves to play with but even then she backed away from him. Everyone was left questioning her actions and couldn’t suggest any other events which would help the relationship between dog and man.
As a dog lover himself Allan seemed a bit disappointed that Corona was excited to see everyone but him when bringing her to a family event. Even with persistence this dog was determined not to be friends with him until just the other night.
Allan and his wife and son were over for a visit and brought their new dog “Formerly Known as Rufus.” Something very unexpected happened at this meeting as Corona seemed oblivious to former issues with Allan and just wanted to hang out with him. Not wanting to bring much attention to the relationship I was able to get a few pictures without ruining the moment. Hopefully this means that things are now settled between them forever and Corona will enjoy going for visits.
