From the beginning we took our dog on as many car rides as possible to ensure her comfort. This allows us to transport our dog to the vet with very little worry. We recommend that every dog owner do this to rid their dog of any apprehensions of driving.
At the mention of going for a drive now our Dogo Argentino’s unclipped ears perk and her head tilts – she understands! Often we take her to a beach or to her grandparents and she seems to love the idea.
Sometimes we put down her window to a safe distance and our dog hangs her head out the window. Her floppy lips, which are characteristic of her Dogo Argentino breed, usually flap comically with the wind.
