A Huge Thank You to Bev and Nature

Either everyone in Moncton assumes that all "XL" dogs are furry or that we live in the tropics and our dogs do not need to be dressed.  Either way, here are no jackets in Moncton for Corona so we had to extend our hunt to Montreal, Quebec.

Here we met up with Paul’s cousin, Bev, who was awesome enough to go on the hunt with us.  Nature, a store she has very close ties with, had everything we needed for our dog and cat.

Corona is seen here wearing the coat Bev helped us get and our dog is extremely impressed with the idea of going outside and not freezing in the winter.

Russ doesn’t know what to think of the toy Bev recommended for him (exercise is highly over rated) but he’s pretty easy going and will try everything at least once.

We also need to thank the people at Nature as they helped us to identify the odd things growing in our fish tank as well as recommended how to get rid of them.

We’ll definitely be back to Nature next time we’re in Montreal!
Thanks so much you guys!

Russ and Corona owe my in laws so much and we’ll never be able to offer them enough gratitude to make them understand how much their hospitality means to us and our pets.

Ellie, who wants a dog and Syd who doesn’t understand the love people have for animals, they open their home every time one of their children asks as well as when anyone just shows up.

Although Russ isn’t allowed in his grandparents bed he loves the attention and would much rather be there than at home alone.  Corona, on the other hand, just loves the idea of walking by the freezer to get a treat.

She’s also learning (more…)

Many critics believe dressing up a pet is cruel; Corona doesn’t think so.  A dog who loves attention, our Dogo Argentino would be first in line at a beauty pageant - requiring a costume or not. If people are looking at her, paying attention to her in any way is heaven to Corona.

Yes, dressing up any one that cannot talk - pet or human - may be seen as cruel but there are many other ways for someone to put forth their preference.  Our dog shows her (more…)

DSC02320_1.JPG

Never an animal lover nor someone who enjoyed having her picture taken, the opportunity couldn’t be missed when Corona sat in front of my mother.  Not objecting to having her picture taken I took several pictures but our dog didn’t want to comply.

Wanting to be on the grass until food was dropped this dog was back and forth more than a clocks pendulum.  Great for us as her getting up and down in the hot sun seemed to drain her of any access energy.

For a dog that loves being (more…)

DSC02284_1.JPG

With a great part of Papa Syd’s heritage sitting on the rocks I couldn’t miss the opportunity of having all the grandchildren, four legged and two legged, in one beautiful scene.  With the perfect backdrop of the sea and in the distance Apple River, Nova Scotia this picture says a lot.

Whatever the kids were discussing seemed to bore both dogs as they tried everything they could to get away.

It’s great to (more…)
