Tired of Playing Games

Monday, November 21st, 2005

Although it doesn’t seem as if our nephew will ever tire of playing video games our dog certainly does. After spending hours watching her buddy race through neighbourhoods Corona decided it was nap time. Using her friends outstretched legs as a pillow; it wasn’t long before she was dreaming of her own race.

No matter how much we spend on special dog pillows, (more…)

Something’s Fishy About This

Not too long after our dog saw something fishy added to our living room but she never truly realized how right she was. When our friend adopted Fred we adopted his fish tank quipped with fish.

Its times like these that we love to capture and we’re thankful that (more…)

A Trophy Dog

Corona, for the most part, is an excellent dog and we consistently award her for this. We most regularly use edible treats, or play with her; sometimes we even set up a play date with another dog. All of these rewards are clearly enjoyed but there are some she looks undecided about but that we enjoy.

Occasionally we have guests over that dog and owners are eager to impress. If the same people and dogs come over my husband feels the need to pull out all the stops. It often seems that we’re sitting in the front row at a circus and the props are direct from our living room. (Is my husband living out his life long dream to be a circus performer?)

Once the performance is complete, my husband is quick to show (more…)
