Posing Gennie

Wednesday, December 21st, 2005

Without giving too much thought to how a dog is sitting or standing, or any thought to lighting I’m surprised at how picturesque some of my work turns out to be. This picture is a prime example of random clicking with a dog in my sights.

Gennie is a beautiful dog, even in bad lighting but it’s remarkable to see this dog in decent lighting. I don’t mean to brag but I’m sure this picture will be cherished for a long time by her owners.

As soon as we left we leave from a visit we hope to be (more…)

Not knowing what they were planning we broke it up as quickly as possible and nervously awaited the outcome. In fact, because they didn’t do anything too dramatic before we left we remain curious as to what this huddle produced.

We hope to think that we have (more…)

A Look of Love?

Wednesday, December 14th, 2005

Knowing our dogs well enough to know what most looks mean we were stumped when our dogs donned the same look. We were weary that it was a crazed look but excited at the thought it was love. This paralyzed all of us.

The look didn’t last long just barely enough time to take the picture. Nothing seemed to happen as the result of the look so our concern died with the flash of the camera. Getting these dogs together makes for an enjoyable time and we’re always happy to have our camera ready.

Excited dogs must be the hardest models to control during a (more…)
