Having this active dog for over two years we’re running out of creative things to do with her. Usually anything we do think of tires us out long before it wears her down.
Still without a fenced in back yard to run in Corona takes full advantage of the opportunities we are able to give her. Being sure to have a long leash on hand we can allow this dog her room while still having full control over her.

As the stick floated away just a bit faster than Corona, our dog kept on swimming to try to get her teeth around it. While tied to a leash Corona seemed oblivious to how far she was coaxing the other end of her leash to go.
Not wanting to go in over his head Paul finally had to pull Corona back in. If he was fishing this catch would certainly be one for the record books.

While Roo was trying out the water, Corona was experimenting with the characteristics of other dog breeds. Although she quickly resembled a Dalmation Corona was acting more like a retriever.
It seemed that my husbands arm tired out before our dog even considered stopping the game and my husband’s strong! Whether this dog was running or swimming she was back in a flash ready for another go at the stick.

Never having the opportunity to see our dog less than twelve weeks old we were amazed to see a dog as small as Roo. Careful as we were while playing with Roo, Corona included, this little dog seems to always want to play rough.
After swimming for an afternoon this dog soaked up enough water to add a few pounds to the girl. Only absorbed in water would Roo compare to the much larger cats at her house but she wanted to dry off before returning home.

Although the kids believed, with all their hearts, that Roo enjoyed the water; this little dog was showing signs otherwise. Not bad in the bath tub with still waters the waves were more than this pup could stand.
Oblivious to the tug in the opposite direction each kid took their turn pulling this dog deeper and deeper into the water. When the kids began to reach depths they wanted to avoid, they would turn back to see the dog attempting to swim back to dry land.
